Milano Unica is now working on the 29th edition, to be held at Fieramilano Rho on July 9, 10 and 11, 2019. The trade show will present the collection of high end fabrics and accessories for the Autumn/Winter 2020-2021 season. The area dedicated to exhibitors, selected among the best European producers, will be supplemented by the usual numerous Theme Areas and projects that have become a consolidated appointment.
During the 88th annual Congress of the International Wool Textile Organisation, Marzotto Wool Manufacturing opens its doors to all the IWTO’s participants on 12 April.

London-based company Dashing Tweeds is modernizing the cloth by working with technical yarns in combination with wools.

With an interesting sense and love of fashion LeGrand Leseur wanted to push the limits by creating suits and looks that haven't been done before. All suits are custom bespoke designed, tailored and altered for the client until he creates the image that the client wants and fits him best.
When I visited Milano Unica, I spoke with Filippo Ronchi, one of the managers of E.Thomas. I could see the brand's fabrics for Autumn/Winter 2015/2016 and learn about the newest fashion trends.
In 1924 the two brothers Mario and Carlo founded the company Lanificio Fratelli Ormezzano in Valle Mosso, Italy. Their aim was to manufacture pure wool fine fabrics for menswear, employing combed wools in an innovative way. They introduced the new concept of fancy fabrics, thus creating an original interpretation of the men's suit.
The Men's fashion cluster organizes International fashion design contest for designers, fashion photographers and filmmakers and the theme is: 'Men's suit - modern and practical'.
The main aims of the project are to make the suit more attractive and practical in everyday life of men, teenagers and children, to preserve made-to-measure traditions and to promote the use of wool fabrics, which allow the clothes to breath, being ecologically clean, practical, light and fine.
