With the Spring/Summer 2027 collection, CARL GROSS reinterprets one of the most defining style codes in menswear: the preppy style. Inspired by the aesthetics of American Ivy League universities, “THE NEW PREP” combines familiar classics with modern ease and a new sense of effortless confidence.

Especially in times shaped by uncertainty and constant change, the desire for reliability, quality and familiar style worlds continues to grow. This is exactly where the new collection comes in: conveying lightness, optimism and a confident sense of being well-dressed — reinterpreted for today.

“THE NEW PREP” serves as the creative foundation for both the CARL GROSS Main Line and the CARL GROSS BLACK LINE — interpreted, however, in deliberately different ways. While the Main Line highlights the more sportive and colourful character of the preppy style, the BLACK LINE presents a more refined, sophisticated and subtle interpretation. Premium materials, modern elegance and an understated sense of confidence give the collection its distinctive identity.

The classic preppy look continues to evolve. Polo shirts, chinos, cardigans and striped ties meet softer silhouettes, washed qualities and relaxed tailoring approaches. Sportive influences from tennis, golf, sailing and rowing complement the style world and give it a modern, effortless dynamic.

The colour palette of the season consciously plays with classic preppy contrasts and modern freshness. Rich shades of blue, creamy off-whites, summery yellow nuances, sportive red accents as well as natural sand and sage tones create a look that feels both familiar and unexpected. The colours bring lightness, optimism and exactly the effortless elegance that defines modern preppy style today.

COVER THE NEEDS – TROUSER OFFENSIVE

For Spring/Summer 2027, CARL GROSS continues to strategically expand its trouser expertise. The result is a focused trouser programme with strong everyday relevance, a modern NOS approach and clear importance for retail.

At the centre are versatile core products with strong commercial appeal and modern fits. A finely textured chino made from GOTS-certified cotton forms the foundation of the range. The programme is complemented by a matching 5-pocket style in the same fabric as well as an especially lightweight summer chino with drawstring and relaxed silhouette.

A specially developed merchandising concept supports a clear POS presentation and creates an easy-to-understand, immediately accessible overall picture.

ADD THE RICH

With “ADD THE RICH”, CARL GROSS enhances the emotional value of the collection through subtle yet recognisable details.

Selected models feature a new signature lining with a refined stripe design that adds depth and individuality. In addition, a three-colour grosgrain ribbon in white, yellow and grey runs through different product groups as a connecting element, creating subtle yet clear recognisability throughout the collection.

The details feel premium and identity-defining without losing the effortless character of the collection.

SHOES PART II

Following the successful launch into the footwear segment, CARL GROSS continues to further develop its shoe collection for Spring/Summer 2027.

The models reflect the stylistic world of the tailoring collection while remaining distinctive and clearly recognisable in their own right. Positioned between NOS relevance, commercial strength and a contemporary fashion statement, the collection offers versatile wearability while still feeling fresh and unexpected.

Key styles include modern desert boots, different penny loafer variations, sportive sneakers and summery woven interpretations. The collection is complemented by denim-inspired themes that further underline the relaxed character of the season.

The shoes are conceived as an integral part of the CARL GROSS total-look concept — coordinated with the collection while being strong enough to stand confidently on their own.
