Ann Demeulemeester Spring-Summer 2017 men's collection

Belgian brand Ann Demeulemeester, established in 1985, presented its Spring-Summer 2017 collection last month during the Paris Fashion Week.

Renowned for a poetic balance of shadow and light, the label presented a 2017 Spring-Summer men's collection, which seemed to be inspired by Japanese culture with its wide belts and scarves attached to the tops.

Hippy style beads and feathers, tailored, military-inspired outerwear, asymmetric patterns, navy hues with splashes of blood red, sheer tops, knitwear with hand-stitched detailing - each design captured strength and sensitivity in equal parts.
