Balenciaga Spring-Summer 2017 Men's collection

The debut menswear collection by Balenciaga artistic director Demna Gvasalia

Designer Demna Gvasalia made his debut for Balenciaga fashion house last season during the women's fashion week. This June he presented his first menswear show for the label during the Paris Fashion Week.

This season is all about shoulders - perfectly fitted to the body coats with American football-size pads.

'I wanted to push it. I wanted a feel of formality, of perfection, to everything', said the designer backstage. And he did it with a mix of high and low, hard and soft, luxurious materials, crop tops and knee-high heeled boots.
