Gucci Spring-Summer 2016 men's collection
I think in the imagination of each of us, there is the idea of having a beautiful wardrobe of unique pieces,
Alessandro Michele, Gucci Creative Director
Détournement is the world that best describes Alessandro Michele Spring-Summer 2016 men's collection for Gucci fashion house. It means 'recontextualization', 'a renewal of possibility' and in fashion sense it's some sort of New Punk mixture.
'The young generation are the real saints of the new world', says the designer, who takes all tattooing, piercing and decorating the body as 'youthful tokens of a new shamanism'.

Old-ladyish details are the keys of this extravagant men's collection - lace shirts, embroidered roses, birds and flowers, silk trousers, silk robes with fur cuffs, ruffled collars.
'The very young and the very old want to be free', says the designer and insists that talking about age, he means a state of mind, not a chronological number.
