Custom Tailors and Designers Association

CTDA is the oldest continuously running trade organization in the USA, founded in 1880. It was established as a platform for sharing and exchange of ideas and techniques about design, pattern making, fitting, cutting and tailoring. Today, CTDA is an association of true Bench Tailors, Custom Clothiers and Luxury Retailers, providing custom clothing (suits, shirts, trousers and accessories) in their stores.

The Association also offers training program for clothiers and retailers, mentored by master tailors and experienced industry experts.

The program provides extensive training in all aspects of the custom clothing industry from Measuring to Business Development and is held every January and July at the Designer Forum New York (DFNY) in Manhattan, NY.

At DFNY you can find your favorite bespoke clothing tailors, designers and manufacturers, showcasing their goods in the boutique hotel style showroom.

The next edition of Designer Forum New York will be held January 23-25, 2016!
