New York Fashion Week: Men's - Nautica Fall-Winter 2016/2017 collection
'City meets the Sea'
Nautica's menswear collection was presented last week in the USA during the New York Fashion Week: Men's, held February 1-4, 2016.
'We looked within this city /New York City/ we love and found details, experiences and monuments that molded our collection. The Brooklyn bridge was one of those monuments. A bridge crosses and expanse of water and is ultimately about connection. The Fall collection is about bringing these experiences to life through a rich Nautical filter', said Steve McSween, VP of Global Design, Men's. The designer shared also that he aimed to 'make an elegant mark with nautical references fused throughout'.
So, Nautica Fall-Winter 2016/2017 menswear collection offers pea coats, duffles and utility jackets in wool, cable-knit sweaters in twisted cashmere, turtleneck in mohair and merino, gabardine pants and joggers, cotton blazers and a transparent rubber fireman jacket, for color.
