Julian Francis Edelman was born in Redwood City, California, in 1986. He is an American football wide receiver for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL) since 2009.

He was the quarterback for Woodside High School in Woodside, California. As a senior in 2004, he led the Wildcats to a 13-0 record. Edelman also holds the Patriots franchise record for longest punt return and the most punts returned for touchdowns as well as the highest career punt return average among active players.

Julian Edelman studied Business management in Kent State University, where in his senior year, he was the Golden Flashes' leading passe.

Julian was ranked #91 in the Top 100 Players of 2015 and titled Super Bowl Champion (XLIX) and 2? AFC Champion (2011, 2014).

The player has been given several nicknames, among which 'Incredelman', 'Minitron', 'The Energizer Bunny' and 'The Squirrel'.

Edelman is notable for his charismatic personality, he has been on magazines' covers and advertising campaigns and is an avid supporter of many charities including The Greg Hill Foundation, teammate Matt Light's Light Foundation, and so on.
