Fall-Winter 2014/2015 menswear trends: Fur
From full coats to simple detailing, fur/faux fur is a top fashion trend in men's wardrobe for this cold season.
Fur was spotted at all global Fashion weeks and into many high street brands' lookbooks.
Fendi is the first fashion brand, which we should mention, talking about fur, because during its Fall-Winter 2014/2015 fashion show it was all about fur - even the 85-meter runway was completely covered in Kidassia goat fur. Collection includes also: full-length fur overcoats, black leather and fur panelled jackets, short hair fur bomber jackets, cropped black fur waistcoats, fur-covered baseball caps, scarves and mittens.
Fur coats were presented also by Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, Burberry Prorsum and Dior Homme - some of them inspired by the image of Vikings.
Fur accessories were another cool theme on the catwalks. Bottega Veneta presented wide scarves in luxurious green fur, while Prada included a cropped waistcoat with multiple straps attached to the outside of overcoats.
Meanwhile Sibling attached huge neck pieces in white and gray fur to cardigans and jackets.
The use of fur for garments other than outerwear was also extremely popular in Fall-Winter 2014/2015 collections by
Emporio Armani, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, etc.
