Salvatore Ferragamo Spring-Summer 2015 menswear collection
'Expert Italian tailoring - an intrinsic part of the house's DNA - merges with sportswear to create a new archetype of the male wardrobe, acquiring an unprecedented, impalpable consistency unbound to seasons', Massimiliano Giornetti, Creative Director at Salvatore Ferragamo
In June 2014, designer Massimiliano Giornetti presented Salvatore Ferragamo Spring-Summer 2015 menswear collection in Italy, during the Milan Fashion Week. And it was one of the fashion week's winners with its giraffe prints and sophisticated melange of hues.
Giornetti didn't just use the base pattern of the animal print, but he also overlaid shirts, linings and cuffs of jackets and even neckties with miniature giraffe illustrations. The prints were inspired by traditional African fabrics and combined with color palette of brows (from sand and beige to chocolate and rust) and sky blues.
Salvatore Ferragamo Spring-Summer 2015 menswear collection includes: soft overcoats, double-breasted blazers, blouson tops, shirts with geometric patterns, easy cut shorts, super lightweight fabrics, silk-wool combinations.
Accessories include: fringed leather sandals, fringed leather moccasins, silk pashminas, waxed suede travel bags with contrasting corners, narrow leather belts.
