SCABAL Autumn/Winter 2016 men's suits collection
It is with great pride that Scabal can announce the appointment of Campbell Dunn as the company’s new Head of Design. With an established pedigree in creating classically luxurious menswear, Campbell aims to take the company to the next creative level.
For his first collection for Scabal, Campbell seeks to begin a patient process of redefining the brand offering. He aims to introduce fine tailoring to a younger audience through gradual stylistic evolution, with one eye firmly on Scabal’s substantial and distinguished heritage. The collection takes its aesthetics from the colour palate of the Yorkshire countryside. Rich autumnal shades, traditional outerwear cloths such as camelhair and wool twill in herringbones all combine to portray a deep sense of refined British luxury.
This season in clothing is extra-special for Scabal, not only does the brand welcome new Head of Design Campbell Dunn to the company, but also debut a technically superior range of garments that include the new Curzon model.
Outerwear is a major focus of this collection. The range of new coats available will include a revised model of peacoat that is slimmer in construction and will carry over into the made-to-measure offering, becoming a permanent option.
The introduction of the Curzon model suit, alongside the release of the new Blue Line garments, will usher in a new era of technical excellence for Scabal. The Curzon is a double-breasted suit, with a more tailored base and slimmer overall cut. This is emphasised by a soft half-canvas interlining, shorter length, wider lapels and gently flowing natural shoulder.
