Thom Browne Spring/Summer 2019 collection
Thom Browne presented Spring/Summer 2019 collection during Paris Fashion Week. A collection that presents a mix of shrunken and supersized proportions of the Alice in Wonderland variety.
The looks, whether oversize or shrunken, were acid-envisaged, couture-level, hyper-colored realizations of preppy White Anglo-Saxon Protestant America. The accents of the collection were: whales, crabs, anchors, and sailboats, hemmed wide-wale corduroy shorts or slim pants, set in fur or wool blazers or embroidered into chinos worn with sweaters.
The entire looks were finished with: the footwear was brogued platform correspondent shoes or boots; the socks - in a wild move for the symmetrically inclined Browne were mismatched throughout.
