Exclusive qualities and efficient sourcing at VIEW PREMIUM SELECTION

On July 16th and 17th 2019, leading international fabric, trim and denim suppliers will present more than 400 collections featuring their preview programs and current developments for the new Autumn-Winter 20/21 season.

Two inspiring trade fair days provide the textile industry with a valuable insight into current material innovations, colour trends and future-oriented qualities, with which they can get a head start for planning and designing new collections.

Exclusive qualities and efficient sourcing at VIEW PREMIUM SELECTION

The focus for Autumn-Winter 2020/2021 is on expressive, distinct velvets, vinyls, reflective surfaces, cords, transparencies, batiks, jacquards, burnouts, new camouflage and leopard prints, as well as glitz and glamour in surprising colour combinations and in a diverse range of techniques. On the other hand, there is a new circular holistic approach which showcases bio-based or bio-engineered materials, new alternative qualities and the revitalization of recycling and post-consumer waste. Sustainability is set to reach an entirely new dimension.

This has been determined through discussions with weaving mills and producers, dressmakers, design teams and buyers. There is a rethinking throughout all sectors and stages of the textile and fashion industry. It's about sustainability, conscious consumption, resource saving processes, efficiency and quality. An important part of this is the ubiquitous topic of digitizing materials. Properly developed and established, it promises both more sustainable and more efficient process solutions across the entire value chain, especially in design.

"Sustainability is part of almost all discussions we are currently having with our customers. To get all the information right, we've just released a special digital portfolio that shows all of our current sustainable product capabilities. Sustainability is something we work on every day. Our innovation and product development team are constantly looking for new alternatives. This is not just about alternative materials but also the improvement of work processes. Digital sample development and our online care label generator are just two examples of what is on our agenda.", Sandra Bornemann, Design and Marketing Bornemann Etiketten

For the first time, a selection of ReSource articles will be presented at VIEW Premium Selection, enabling the early sourcing of sustainable and ecologically certified fabrics and trims. The latest material innovations include those from Dutel Creation, Bornemann Etiketten, Yilmaz Tekstil and Tejidos Royo.
