Introduction to Tailoring Short Course from London College of Fashion
This exciting course, offered by London College of Fashion, is an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of bespoke tailoring. A tailoring apprentice takes 7 years to perfect one's craft, so it's a good idea to have a taste before you commit. The course combines some practical making exercises with visits to Savile Row and specialized fabric stores.

* Hand sewing techniques
* Visit to Savile Row workshop
* Measuring and fitting
* Tailoring vocabulary

* Anatomy of a jacket - construction and deconstruction

You should have an interest in the subject area and a desire to learn but no previous experience is required.
