Photo collection “Graffiti” is an artistic project of the team of “Stephan” academy and New Approach agency, created with the idea to mark the leading trends of the season in the form of a complete fashion look.
The main idea of this project is to highlight the haircut line, to adapt a specific color and to effectively implement this style in the fashion trend for 2010.
The new Renault Megane inspired haute couture hair styles collection
The top coiffeur Vasil Mihaylov, artistic director of coiffure academy Stephan,
presented on stage a unique collection haute couture hair styles for Renault
during the premiere of the new cars of the brand in Bulgaria.
The hair style and the car are the newest stylish city jewels. This was proved
by the official premiere of Renault Megane Hatch and Renault Megane Coupe in
Bulgaria at an elegant fashion show in Rainbow Plaza in Sofia, Bulgaria. As
expected the hair colours will be dominated by the colours of the new Megane,
the shape and volume of the hair styles will follow the elegant line and stylish
sexy design.
Experiment of young fashion designers in the defile "This is now"
Moto-Pfohe Ltd., official importer and distributor of Ford, Volvo, Jaguar and Land Rover in Bulgaria, organized a charity fashion show in help of the orphans that finish school this year.
Young designers, students in the National Academy of Art, specialty Fashion, presented their collections, inspired by different art and architecture creations. The models were designed and stamped by the designers, who also added hand painted motives. The defile "This is now" is one of the events, with which the specialty Fashion with a master prof. Gredi Assa celebrates 10 years from its creation.
The winners of "Zlatna igla 2006" (Golden needle 2006) award are already known
Albena Aleksandrova won for the 3rd time Golden needle prize awarded by the Bulgarian Fashion Academy.
This was the conclusion when the direct electronic voting of the 36 jury members was closed.
The other winners are:
"Zebra" - for the fashion house of the year; Angel Tsvetanov – for the fashion photographer of the year; Kiril Chalakov – for the make-up of the year and the pop singer Irina Florin – for the most successful debut of the 2006th.

University teaching has many advantages (although it has some disadvantages, which we are not going to discuss here and now) – it makes you feel always young because you are constantly communicating with students; gives you an opportunity to feel satisfied because of the awareness that you live a meaningful life and that there is someone to whom you could pass on your experience and knowledge; gives you a certain emotional-intellectual feeling and thus a special vitamin of spiritual confidence, for which there is no analogue.
Academy for fashion closes the fashion season in a remarkable fashion show
Academy for fashion closed the fashion season in a magnificent and ritual way. The event took place on 12th july 2005 in Vitosha Park Hotel. The chairmen of the Academy and hosts of the evening Lubomir Stoykov and Donka Ganeva gathered the best Bulgarian creators.
Some of the winners of Golden Needle Award walked on the scene this evening. One representative model of their last collections showed Maria Nedkova, Fani Papadopulu, Jana Jekova, Neli Koleva, Maria Micheva, Evgenia Jivkova for "Jeni Style“, Virginia Zdravkova for “Virginia atelier”, Mariela Gemisheva, Yordanka Chernaeva, Natali Genova, Darina Manchenko, Mira Bachvarova, Irina Sardareva, Georgi Kolev, “Aries Unikat”, “Rila Style”, “Enita”, “Tcanevi atelier” e.t.c.
The nominations for the Golden Needles are announced
On its session on Friday the Academy of fashion voted the nominations for the "Golden needle" award for the year 2001. The award for overall contribution to Bulgarian fashion and the "Golden needle" in this category is adjudged to the famous Bulgarian designer Daria Manchenko. She has graduated the Higher school of fashion stylistics, haute couture fashion and costume "Arman Gojel" in Paris and more than a quarter of a century she works in the field of fashion design.
