Munich Fabric Start takes a share in the new heritage

Following intense networking and jointly realised projects we bring together what belongs together: MUNICH FABRIC START Exhibitions GmbH now takes a share in New Heritage – the Festival for Timeless Fashion – held once a year in Munich and D?sseldorf since 2017. The organisers of the trade fairs are now complementing each other to continue the successful course already charted.

Both events enjoy a growing community despite the general trends towards “trade-fair tiredness”. New Heritage has become an established event for all those on a quest for quality and authenticity off the beaten track. Craftsmanship, quality and durability are values also considered core by the organisers of both MUNICH FABRIC START and BLUEZONE, and enjoy growing popularity.

With this step the two organisers generate potential, pool their competence and make efficient use of both synergies and resources to develop further and expand the up-andcoming event for handcrafted, small-series products.

New Heritage has become an established event for all those on a quest for quality and authenticity, for brands and products off the beaten track and a new kind of customer experience – both B2C and B2B. This area holds great further expansion potential with additional existing exhibitors, cooperation partners and accompanying side events.

The founders and masterminds of New Heritage, Moritz Fuchs and Ann Sophie Meier, were delighted at this decision to join forces and appreciate the commitment and longstanding experience of the organisers of MUNICH FABRIC START and BLUEZONE in Munich.

Moritz Fuchs: “It is time to take the next step. We personally get along very well and have shared the same vision for the direction that New Heritage should take in future from the very beginning. This builds con?dence. I very much look forward to the future cooperation.”

Ann Sophie Meier adds: ”We ?rmly believe that New Heritage works as a platform for quality products for end users and retailers as well as for agencies. Together we want to expand the concept further and are convinced we have charted a successful course.”

In addition to the synergies and the important overlap of their communities, the organisers of MUNICH FABRIC START see a huge potential in this event.

Sebastian Klinder: ”We were able to closely follow the two last events in Munich and D?sseldorf and are impressed with the creative minds behind New Heritage. But we were even more thrilled to observe that New Heritage not only works for end users but also attracts smart retailers. New Heritage is a people-to-people trade fair! This fact and the passion, creativity and the instinct for addressing customers the right way plus a sensitively compiled range of products is what we all share as common denominators. By harnessing our strengths like this we will now be in a position to successfully develop this event further.”

The cooperation provides an outlook on the consistent further development of today’s trade fair and shopping concepts. The overlap of B-2-B and B-2-C events holds great potential for a model of the future without altering the core values of the event.

Frank Junker: “It is extremely enriching for us to absorb the look & feel and the spirit of New Heritage. In return we also have something to share and, last but not least, great expertise as well as an extremely well-functioning structure, both in-house and externally. We are simply a great ? t, in both personal and organisational terms.”

The next two jointly organised events of New Heritage will be held in Munich on 11 & 12 May 2019 and in D?sseldorf on 23 & 24 November 2019. There are also plans to open up further locations.

Management of FOXnFRIENDS GmbH as an organiser of the New Heritage Events will be taken over by Moritz Fuchs and Sebastian Klinder with immediate effect.
