Brioni Spring/Summer 2016 - the geometry in the suit, out of the frame
The Italian fashion house Brioni presented its Spring/Summer 2016 collection - unique with the new concept of the men's suit. We all knew, that the black suit is no more the best outfit. Nowadays, it is more interesting and eye catching when a man is dressed in different suit - unusual colours, fits and fabrics.
On two-button notched suits in super-light woolen silk there were hand-painted blocks and stripes in opaque shades of artist-mixed blue, green, and gold. Short-sleeve shirts, some similarly printed, some plain. Belts were applied to tailored jackets, countryman style, and further rustication of Brioni's sophistication was expressed through suede elbow patches and incongruous suede patch pockets with exposed stitching.
Chic, contemporary, and urban, it really checked all the right boxes. And by throwing some neoplasticism prints in the mix, there are even a few conversation pieces to boot.
