Taking a look at the schedule of designers and brands, presenting their collections at Paris Fashion Week, you can see that foreign names prevail. About 25% are the real French designers and brands, such as Balenciaga, Balmain, Sonia Rykiel, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Yves Saint Laurent, Hermes, Agnes B. etc. There are many Italian and Belgian designers and fashion houses that show their collections in Paris and among the other presented countries are Great Britain, USA, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Germany, China, Japan, Singapore, India, Brazil...
The fashion brand Gucci never forgets men and occasionally creates new models to catch their attention. The designers created a new collection men's shoes Gucci, which are not made from leather, but from carbon fiber. This material becomes more and more popular for the production of shoes. GG Plus Moccasin is made in Italy and comes in elegant beige/ebony colors, laced in dark brown leather. The best feature of these shoes is the cut out at the front that shows a beautiful G as brand logo. The carbon fiber is found at the beautiful back heel of the shoes in the rubber sole. As we promised in the previous article of bgfashion.net we will present you the collections of the designers and fashion houses who took part in the Day of Bulgarian fashion in Rome. The final evening, dedicated to Bulgarian fashion design was organized by Mrs. Jana Yakovleva, chairwoman of the Bulgarian-Italian cultural association Phoenix and Prof. Lubomir Stoykov – chairman of the Academy for fashion.
Prof. Lubomir Stoykov’s new book World Fashion. Part Three: Italy is already a cultural and aesthetical fact. During its official premiere at Vitosha Park Hotel, it was presented by H.E. Stefano Benazzo – ambassador of Republic of Italy to Bulgaria who is also author of the introductory words. Mr. Benazzo notices: The work of Prof. Lubomir Stoykov has the merit to tell the story of the evolution of the Italian fashion through the stories of our biggest designers from the post-war period until the present, showing that fashion is most of all a result of the labour of really unusually people rather than of more or less inspired persons, more or less anti conformists. I am grateful to Prof. Stoykov, because thanks to him, many Bulgarians who love so much our country, will be able to "understand" the Italian fashion, will be able to explain its language and symbols, rather than only fall in love from first sight.
The Italian designer doesn't want to be like other designers and bask
in glory after debuting her collections.
She said: "I hate the cliche of fashion designers since the beginning. And so because I came from another background - and actually being a feminist at those times, not that I've changed so much - I didn't want to do anything that fashion designers were doing. And the first thing I didn't want to do was that."

After 2 unsuccessful tries to enter the university and study pharmacy, a disappointment and a love affair, she decided to try in the sphere of Industrial design in the Polytechnic university in Milan.
Luca Patrone was born in 1973 in Genova, Italy. After taking the degree in management engineering, he finished his study in Mexico city and then in Colombia. After coming back to Italy he began to work as a consultant.
But his passion turned to be his work very soon and thus he started his photographer career. Now he has over 5 years of experience in commercial and fashion photography. He lives in Milan, one of the world Cities of fashion. He answered some questions exclusively for our site.
