Thom Sweeney Spring-Summer 2017 men's collection
Jude Law's wardrobe in 'The Talented Mr. Ripley' is Thom Whiddett and Luke Sweeney's inspiration for their latest men's collection. 'Thom and I have always loved that film. We always felt that it was the perfect Summer wardrobe for Summer evenings and day times, events - without the swimwear, obviously', said Sweeney.
Luke explained also that they had requests from clients for 'tailoring in lighter fabrics for glamorous Riviera weddings and parties'. In response, the designer duo has created a number of creamy double-breasted tuxedos in lightweight wool and silk, slim trousers, shirts and plackets, matched with espadrilles.
In Spring-Summer 2017 Thom Sweeney collection you can find also gray, bittersweet chocolate and pale taupe suede jackets as well as pared-back macs in waterproof Loro Piana fabrics.
