Eddie Redmayne chose not to wear black

Edward John David 'Eddie' Redmayne is an English actor, model and singer, born in London, UK, in 1982.

He attended Eton College and began his acting career as a youth in London theater. Edward made his movie debut in 2006 with Like Minds and The Good Shepherd. You can also watch him in Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007), The Other Boleyn Girl (2008), and Black Death (2010).

Prior to becoming a full-time actor, Redmayne modelled for Burberry in 2008 and 2012.

Among the awards, which Redmayne has received for his acting skills are the Laurence Olivier Award and Tony Award for Best Supporting Actor (Red, 2010); the Academy Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, BAFTA and Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Leading Role (The Theory of Everything, 2015).

Since 2014, Redmayne has been married to public relations executive Hannah Bagshawe. The couple is expecting their first child in June 2016.

Redmayne was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2015 Birthday Honours for services to dram. The same year he was named number one in GQ's 50 best dressed British men.
